"Phenix City to Name Street for Horace King" - TPR's In Focus - October 8, 2024

Phenix City, Alabama, is celebrating the legacy of 19th century bridge builder  Horace King, a mixed race state legislator who is honored in the Alabama Civil Engineering Hall of Fame.  Historian Dr. Richard Bailey, President of the Alabama Historical Association, talks with Carolyn Hutcheson of In Focus about the group's October 11-12 meeting, when a street will be named for Horace King and a new historical marker erected in the city.
