In Focus with Carolyn Hutcheson

Alabama continues to showcase its musical talent on NBC's "The Voice," with Selma contestant Asher Havon.  He talks with Carolyn Hutcheson of In Focus about his experience on "The Voice," as well as his years singing gospel music and his family's participation in Selma Civil Rights activities.  In 2015, Asher sang for President Barack Obama.  More information about his performances on "The Voice" can be found on YouTube.

In the second of her two-part interview for The Exchange, Montgomery CPA Lynne Bozeman talks with Carolyn Hutcheson of In Focus about tax tips for individuals. Lynne, a Troy graduate, is a former Chair of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Recently Kyle Gassiott, Troy Public Radio Director, paid a visit to Gee's Bend in Wilcox County, Alabama, to talk with quilter Mary Ann Pettway about the community's unique and artistic quilts, which are displayed all over the world.  In observance of Women's History Month, Kyle shared the highlights of his visit with Carolyn Hutcheson of In Focus and also posted photos on TPR's Facebook page and Instagram.  Mary Ann Pettway heads the Gee's Bend Quilters Collective.
