Valentine's Day is February 14th, and those looking for love online can be caught up in requests for money from the object of their romantic interest. Monde Donaldson, Vice-President of the Better Business Bureau Foundation Serving Central and South Alabama, talks with Carolyn Hutcheson, In Focus host of The Exchange, about romantic red flags.

Jeremiah Stager, with the Office of Archaeological Research at the University of Alabama, talks with Carolyn Hutcheson, In Focus host, about Montgomery's railroad history, dating back to the early 1800s.  On Tues., Feb. 14, the City of Montgomery will present Jeremiah's film about that history at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, and the public is invited.

Montgomery's Cloverdale Playhouse is presenting next week an imagined sequel to one of the world's most famous plays, Ibsen's "A Doll's House."  Artistic Director Sam Wootten talks with In Focus host Carolyn Hutcheson about Lucas Hnath's "A Doll's House, Part Two," and its striking relevance to today.

Boy Scout Troop 27, founded in 1923 at Fort Benning, Georgia, is one of the longest continually active troops in the country.  Cliff Christian, former Scoutmaster and active committee member, talks with Carolyn Hutcheson, In Focus host, about the troop's history, its 200 Eagle Scouts and their service projects, the troop's decades of community service, and  the Centennial Banquet tonight.  The troop was chartered by the Fort Benning Infantry School.

The Alabama Department of Archives and HIstory is celebrating Black History Month with a family event on Feb. 11.  Richard Trammell, Education Curator and Tour Coordinator, and Sam Christensen, Exhibit Curator, talk with Carolyn Hutcheson, In Focus host, about radio's role in the Cvil Rights Movement, with deejays like Shelley Stewart, who is an inductee in the Black Radio Hall of Fame.  Dr. Stewart will be at the occasion on Saturday to deliver a talk and appear at the Alabama Radio Moments exhibit. Montgomery's Mayor Steven Reed will also read a children's book about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Joseph Borg, Director of the Alabama Securities Commission, talks with Carolyn Hutcheson, host of The Exchange on In Focus, about cryptocurrency and how several crypto exchanges are filing for bankruptcy.

Literacy is something people tend to take for granted, not realizing there are those who cannot read and write, whatever their age.  Margaret Gunter, immediate past president of the Alabama Literacy Alliance, talks with Carolyn Hutcheson, In Focus host, about reading as fundamental in our society, and the efforts to boost literacy.

On Feb. 14, the City of Montgomery will present a new film about that history at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall.  The public is invited.

Mark Colson, President and CEO of the Alabama Trucking Association, talks with Carolyn Hutcheson, In Focus host of The Exchange, about diesel and alternative fuels.  The economy's supply chain has been impacted by high diesel fuel costs, and Colson believes the future will have several economically and environmentally viable types of fuels, including clean diesel.

People who are blind often use guide dogs, and today Adam Beasley, longtime volunteer with Guide Dogs of America, talks with Carolyn Hutcheson, In Focus host, about how the organization has merged with Tender Loving Canines, to include service dogs in its mission.  Guide Dogs of America is a project of the Machinists Union.
