Martin McCaffery, Director of the Capri Theatre in Old Cloverdale, talks with Carolyn Hutcheson, In Focus host, about Montgomery's 1941 movie theater as the oldest continually operating movie theater in Alabama.  Renovations have moved from the interior to the exterior, with the newest project of the nonprofit Capri Community Film Society targeting replacemet of the marquee, to conform to a Forties style of design.  The theater will feature two fall film festivals in its ongoing movie schedule.

Sarah Driver, known as the "Hummingbird Lady," talks with Carolyn Hutcheson, In Focus host, about her techniques of banding ruby-throated hummingbirds. The master hummingbird bander will be at Dothan Area Botanical Gardens Aug. 12 and Sept. 9 to band hummingbirds. Space is limited for registrations.
Gees Bend in Wilcox county, Alabama, is famous for its quilters. Old Alabama Town in Montgomery is featuring an exhibit of Gees Bend quilts, Carolyn Hutcheson talks to Landmarks Foundation curator Carole King to find the stories behind the quilts.
